January 2019 Review

I wasn’t planning on doing monthly review posts this year, but as I’m sat here on the last day of this busy month – I feel like I can confidently say I’ve achieved a heck of a lot and would love to share that with you all (she says to the small, but lovely crowd she has).

January 2019 was all about diving head first into full blown adulthood, however the diving board was rather high and meant I slapped like a piece of meat on the water. But I’ve surfaced well! Alive and telling the tale. So let’s see what I got up to….

£25 skincare routine?! (+ Vanity Planet Review)

Good morning, good evening or goodnight wherever you are! Firstly, I hope you’re doing well – I’m currently sat itching to take my makeup off, but ironically wanted to write this skincare post first.

Sometimes stripping things back into their simplest and most affordable form is what we like to see. I’m yet to venture too far out into the world of more high-end items that are classed as an investment. If you’ve got a bank of any pricier products you swear by – please leave them/any links down below! My aim for 2019 (as per my previous post, cheeky plug) is to incorporate more cruelty free items into my routine, and upon writing this, I realised I have quite a long way to go.

Christmas with the Netflix originals…

Netflix are taking full advantage of the festivities this year and are churning out the merry movies like this is the last year of Santa and pigs in blankets. But is it all bad? I decided to watch 5 suggested Netflix originals that ooze Christmas so that you (may) not have to!

I can’t sit here and be a grinch about it, because I did enjoy my evenings escaping into a world of cringey but endearing story lines. So sit back and please enjoy my amateur reviews!
